Join us as Joel Boerckel, Ph.D., Associate Professor from the University of Pennsylvania, presents a webinar entitled: Mechanobiology of endothelial cell motility and vascular morphogenesis. Abstract: The endothelium experiences a diversity of mechanical cues that direct vascular development, homeostasis, and disease. We aim to understand the roles of the mechanoresponsive transcriptional regulators, YAP and TAZ, in endothelial cell motility, cytoskeletal homeostasis, and vascular morphogenesis. In this webinar, I will discuss my group’s efforts to understand this hour glass-shaped signaling pathway and its roles in endothelial cell mechanobiology.
