Join us for another roundtable sponsored by NAVBO's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. Reducing implicit bias in professional decisions is crucial for fostering fairness, diversity, and inclusion in professional organizations. Implicit biases are unconscious attitudes or stereotypes that can influence decision-making processes. Addressing these biases requires a combination of awareness, education, and intentional efforts to create an inclusive environment. This event intends to provide some strategies to reduce implicit bias in professional decisions. Panelists will include Dr. Mahdi Garelnabi, University of Massachusetts, Lowell and Bhama Ramkhelawon, Ph. D., Assistant Professor, NYU Langone Medical Center.
