Vascular Biology 2024

Description

This is the annual meeting of the North American Vascular Biology Organization and we are pleased to welcome the Microcirculatory Society as a co-sponsor. Sessions will cover development & genetics, signaling, inflammation, matrix biology & bioengineering, and microcirculation, plus cross-over themes in mechanotransduction, malformations and metabolism.

What to expect:

  • Keynote Lecture by William C. Sessa, Senior Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer, Pfizer, Inc.
  • NAVBO Award lectures featuring the Earl Benditt by Asrar Malik and Judah Folkman by Benjamin Hogan; the Springer Award Recipient is to be determined, and the Landis Award Lecture sponsored by MCS
  • Over 40 international experts presenting their most recent work
  • Sixteen concurrent sessions

Time

There is a Pre-Conference Meeting for Trainees beginning at 2:00pm on October 20 (additional registration is required). The Opening Session featuring our keynote speaker, William Sessa, and the Benditt Awardee, TBA, will begin at 7:00pm, immediately after dinner in the Croker Dining Hall. The meeting concludes on Thursday, October 24 at 1:00pm with a general session on Metabolism.

Located at the tip of the Monterey Peninsula, Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove offers an ideal venue for countless types of events.

Pricing

Your registration covers attendance at all sessions (except the Pre-Conference Meeting for Trainees), poster sessions with light refreshments, and any of the Career Development and DEI roundtables.  It also covers coffee breaks and the welcome reception on Sunday.
